I gave the drive the benefit of the doubt, but my attempts to move out of the way and show that I meant to be where I was did nothing to make him move.
I did not wish to turn my back on the car, fearing that it would close the distance between us while my back was turned.
I had remembered to bring my phone with me on my walk and pulled it out. I made as if to dial a number and at the same time another car came down the road and the white car continued on its path.
I did not look to see the driver's face. I did not check the tag number. I will not return to that road for this marks the second time that something has occurred on that road coaxing me to return to my house.
The last time I had heard an odd noise and my camera died, only to return to working well the instant I was home.
Perhaps I will visit the road again later in the season. But I will be armed. For now I will scout out a new place to take photos. I apologize to anyone who liked the scenery before.
